Observa esta gráfica comparando la cantidad de tiempo que toma cargar un iPhone 4 por USB contra el contacto de pared.

Demostrando lo obvio, iPhone 4 tarda mas para tener una carga completa por USB que por un contacto de pared. Lo que no te habías dado cuenta es cuán grande era la diferencia, un extra de 30 minutos! Eso es 23% más para una carga completa por USB. Si haz tenido un iPhone con su batería completamente descargada, sabrás que toma un poco de tiempo antes de que encienda de nuevo. Conectado a un contacto de pared, tomó 3 minutos 11 segundos para volver a la vida. Mientras que por USB tomó casi 2 minutos más, un total de 4 minutos 49 segundos.

A USB port can supply 500mA charge current. The wall outlet charger is 1A charge current. So obviously the wall outlet charge is capable of charging the iPhone twice as fast, that is if the charge circuitry and battery is capable.

Now you need to test it charging from the iPad outlet. The phone gets freakin hot!!
