Hi i have a jailbroken (jailbreakme) iphone 4 on ios 4.0 (8a293) baseband 01.59.00 I would like to upgrade to any version of ios 5 as I am unable to use many apps that require at least ios 5 after reading many tutorials I am unsure whether it is possible to do this obviously I would like an untethered jailbreak. I am confused about unsigned ipsws and whether it will still work I am concerned I will not be able to restore all my jailbroken apps iPhone3,1 2885515019021 remote blobs: 6.0.1, 5.1.1, 5.1, 4.3.5, 4.2b3, 4.2.1, 4.1, 4.0.2, 4.0.1, 4.0 any help or a pointer to the relevant tutorials would be greatly appreciated many thanks in advance Marc

Follow the jailbreak wizard here and upgrade your iOS to the one that the jailbreak can support within iOS 5.

www.iclarified.com/jailbreak

I'm using 5.1.1. To upgrade just use the official iOS file and update your iPhone.
