Ahead of its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple has released its traditional collection of curated playlists on Apple Music. The five "WWDC25" playlists are now available, offering a soundtrack for developers and fans in the days leading up to the main event.
The collection features five playlists, each with a specific focus. "WWDC25 Hello" is billed as music to "get ready for the biggest Apple developer event of the year," while "WWDC25 Power Up" collects "pure energy from the summer's most electrifying artists." The lineup also includes "WWDC25 Sunshine" for "music of the islands," "WWDC25 Coffee Shop" for "cozy sounds for quiet focus," and "WWDC25 Jazz," featuring "cutting-edge music from the global frontiers of jazz."
Each playlist contains 20 songs and runs for approximately one hour. The tracklists feature a mix of artists, including Lorde and Ed Sheeran on the "Hello" playlist, Wizkid and Tems on "Sunshine," and ROSÉ and Lady Gaga on "Power Up."
The cover art for the playlists is also noteworthy. The icons display a new aesthetic based on translucent, glassy forms with soft, blended color gradients. This visual direction is a noticeable shift from recent, flatter designs and is widely seen as a preview of the new design language expected to debut in iOS 26 and macOS 26 at the conference.
All five WWDC 2025 playlists can now be streamed by Apple Music subscribers. The WWDC 2025 keynote kicks off at 1pm EDT / 10am PDT. You can follow along with our live blog here.
