Apple Completes Pixelmator Acquisition

Apple has announced that it has officially completed its acquisition of Pixelmator.

Pixelmator makes the popular Photomator photo editor app for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro; as well as, the Pixelmator Pro app for Mac. The company announced it was being acquired by Apple back in November.

Today, Apple released an update to the Pixelmator apps with an "important announcement." After updating, users are presented with a large splash screen that reads, "We are excited to announce that Pixelmator Pro is now part of Apple." Additionally, a notice informs users that "Use of this app is subject to the Apple Privacy Policy."
