New M4 Macs to Arrive in November [Report]

Apple is set to release its first M4 Macs in November, a source tells MacRumors.

According to a reliable source familiar with the matter, Apple will release new Mac models in November 2024. While new Macs are usually released toward the end of the year, this is the first time a launch month has been singled out for the upcoming M4 Macs.

It's been widely predicted that Apple will begin to transition its Mac lineup to M4 this year. The first models to get the chip will likely be the MacBook Pro, iMac, and a redesigned Mac mini. The MacBook Pro and iMac updates are expected to be minor; however, there have been rumors of an upgrade to 16GB of RAM for base models.


Earlier today, leaker Mark Gurman reported that the new Macs could be unveiled around a month after iPhone 16. This would put the launch sometime in October. Last year, Apple held a 'Scary Fast' event on October 30, 2024 to unveil its new M3 Macs. It's quite possible we'll see a similar October event to unveil new M4 Macs that arrive in November.
