iOS 18.1 Beta 3 Introduces New 'Clean Up' AI Tool for Photos

Apple has introduced a new 'Clean Up' tool for Photos in iOS 18.1 beta 3 that uses Apple Intelligence (AI) to remove unwanted objects in your images.

Remove distractions in your photos with the Clean Up tool in the Photos app. Apple Intelligence identifies background objects so you can remove them with a tap and perfect your shot — while staying true to the original image.




To access the new Clean Up tool, open a photo and tap the Adjustments button at the bottom of the screen. You can then tap to select the Clean Up tool. Tap, brush, or circle the object you would like to remove, then press the Done button.
