iPhone 16 Back Panel With Vertical Camera Module Allegedly Leaks [Image]

A photo has leaked that allegedly reveals the back panel for the upcoming iPhone 16. The image appeared on Weibo and was spotted by Macotakara.

According to the original poster, "This is the base model of iPhone 16, similar to the leaks online. #iPhone16#"

Macotakara believes "This may be the panel for the iPhone 16 PVT model", noting that the rear camera is similar in size to the iPhone 15 Pro main camera and ultra-wide camera with the telephoto camera eliminated.


Confirming previous rumors, the cameras are in vertical alignment.

It looks like a return to the vertical arrangement of the iPhone 12 rear camera, and we can confirm that the True Tone flash is not only back to fit between the two cameras, but also has a hole in it that would allow the LiDAR scanner to fit in a parallel position.
