Just a week after hitting the top of the iPhone's education charts, Googly's "Alphabets in the Zoo" iPad version is featured on the front page of the iPad's App Store under "New and Noteworthy." Children's mobile application studio Googly is overwhelmed by the positive response the app has received.
"We would have never dreamed that we would so quickly move to the front of the pack on both the iPhone and the Ipad. Apple's selection of our apps is such a great compliment - especially with all the other great apps in the store. We worked very hard on this app and are so happy to see it find an audience. We've also listened closely to feedback and have already done an upgrade to the iPhone app and added those improvements to the iPad version before we launched. We're doing another upgrade of both versions of "Alphabets in the Zoo" to make the app even more interactive and toddler-friendly."
"Alphabets in the Zoo" features a charming new animated alphabet song and story to help children learn their letters as they look, listen, and sing-a-long. Children's understanding of the alphabet is taught and reinforced as they enjoy Saad Rashid's colorful animation, listen to the Fauzia Abbasi's delightful lyrics, and enjoy Dave Klotz's catchy tune.
Music composer Dave Klotz is "very encouraged at having this first time success." He looks forward to "working on more exciting projects for Googly." "Alphabets in the Zoo" was a challenge for Klotz because he "had to make sure that the tune was dynamic enough to stay fun and engaging through all 26 letters of the alphabet." Based on user enthusiasm for the song and lyrics, it seems Klotz has succeeded.
Googly's next release in the children's "sing-a-long" series is "Mary Had A Little Lamb." "Mary Had A Little Lamb" is currently available for the iPhone with an iPad version following shortly.
Pricing and Availability:
Alphabets in the Zoo 1.0 is $2.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available exclusively through the App Store in the Education category.
