Apple is not expected to release new MacBooks with an M3 processor this year, according to new a report from TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Kuo says:
It seems that Apple will not launch new MacBook models (equipped with M3 series processors) before the end of this year.
Notably, this contradicts past predictions that Apple will unveil new M3 devices in October, including an iMac, 13-inch MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman recently outlined a list of M3 devices being tested, but it's now unclear when any of these devices will debut.
Apple's M3 processor will likely be built on TSMC's 3nm process bringing improvements to performance and battery life. For more updates, please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS.
