Third Source Says Apple Has Cancelled Solid State Buttons for iPhone 15 Pro

A third source has corroborated reports that Apple has abandoned its plan to introduce solid state buttons on the iPhone 15 Pro.

Earlier today, leaker Unknownz21 tweeted:

Unfortunately - right as we were in the middle of releasing the existing the design, I received confirmation of the planned changes to the 15 Pro. It happens 🤷‍♂️


The cancellation of the haptic buttons was very abrupt, by the looks of things.

Yesterday both TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and Haitong Intl Tech Research analyst Shelly Chou indicated that the much rumored feature had been cancelled.
