Apple to Fix iPhone 14 Pro Max Horizontal Lines Issue in Software Update

Apple is working to fix the horizontal lines issue experienced by some iPhone 14 Pro Max users in a software update, according to a company memo seen by MacRumors.
A growing number of iPhone 14 Pro Max users have complained about flashing green and yellow horizontal lines when turning on their device. Thankfully, it appears the issue is not hardware related and will be resolved in an upcoming software update.
--
iPhone 14 Pro customers may "report that when they power on or unlock their phone, they briefly see horizontal lines flash across the screen," says the memo. "Apple is aware of the issue and a software update is coming soon that will resolve the issue."
--
Apple currently testing iOS 16.3 beta 2 with developers. That update did bring a fix for an Apple Music issue that caused clean song versions to play instead of explicit. Perhaps the horizontal line issue could be resolved in a third beta or an upcoming release of iOS 16.2.1.
