All iPhone 15 Models to Get Dynamic Island, iPhone 15 Pro to Get Titanium Frame, More

All four new iPhone 15 models will get the Dynamic Island cutout feature currently found on the iPhone 14 Pro, according to a new report from Mark Gurman. This echos a prediction from Display Supply Chain Consultants CEO Ross Young back in September 2022.
The Dynamic Island is an expandable area around a pill-shaped front facing display cutout that lets users check alerts and current activity in progress -- such as music playing, timers, AirDrop connection, and directions from Maps. The feature has been popular with buyers leading to a higher than expected sales mix of the iPhone 14 Pro vs the standard iPhone 14.
Additionally, Gurman corroborates rumors from ShrimpApplePro that the iPhone 15 Pro models will feature a titanium frame and and a report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo that the iPhone 15 Pro will feature haptic buttons.
The new iPhone's hardware, though, could still be impressive. I'm told to expect the same screen sizes as the iPhone 14 family, but the Dynamic Island will expand to all four models. A titanium frame replaces stainless steel on the Pro models, and there will be haptic volume buttons. The phone also will switch to USB-C and faster processors.
Apple has confirmed that they will be forced to comply with EU regulations mandating USB-C. Unfortunately, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to get fast USB 3.2 transfer speeds.
We expect Apple to unveil its next generation iPhones in September 2023. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for more iPhone 15 updates.
