Aqara Integrates Sonos Speakers Into Smart Home System

Aqara has announced a partnership with Sonos to integrate select speakers into the Aqara Smart Home system. This will allow users to incorporate home audio into their scenes and automations.

Aqara strives to enable seamless smart home experiences for millions of global users, and this is our first step to expand the Aqara system and to support third-party connected devices. We will continue to enrich the Aqara ecosystem and to offer users even more options for their smart homes.




Example uses include being greeted by your favourite playlist when you arrive home, as the G3 Camera Hub recognizes you and activates your own Welcome Home scene. Or you can control your Sonos speaker intuitively with the newly-released Cube T1 Pro, such as shaking to the next track and rotating to adjust the volume.

All automation can be configured in the Aqara Home app, and no third-party platforms are required. Sonos speakers that are supported by Aqara include Arc, Beam Gen 2, Five, Move, One, Roam SL, and Sub (Gen 3).
