CAD renders of Apple's next generation iPad have allegedly been leaked, revealing a new flat edge design. The images were shared by MySmartPrice this morning.
To the back, it looks like the next-gen iPad will come with a single camera, just like the last-gen device. But, based on these images, it looks like the 10th Gen will get an LED flash and a camera island, unlike the 9th Gen. The back also comes with the Apple logo.
Further, to the bottom and the top of the device, we can see the speaker out, which we assume the iPad will feature a quad-speaker setup. To the top, we can also see the power button. To the side, we see the volume rockers. The device’s charging port is still a mystery as the CAD renders have a red mark on them. So, we are still not sure if Apple will jump to Type-C or stick to the lighting port.
The site says the new iPad will have a larger display than its predecessor and measure 248.62 x 179.50 x 6.98mm, which is wider but slimmer.
Previous reports have suggested that the iPad 10 will get an A14 processor, 5G support, and USB-C connectivity; as well as, a slightly larger display.
Apple is expected to unveil its new iPads in October and has reportedly pushed back its launch of iPadOS 16 until October as well. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for more updates.
