Twitter Announces Edit Button in Development

Twitter announced today that it is working on an Edit feature for tweets.

now that everyone is asking…
yes, we’ve been working on an edit feature since last year!
no, we didn’t get the idea from a poll 😉
we're kicking off testing within @TwitterBlue Labs in the coming months to learn what works, what doesn’t, and what’s possible.

Twitter is referencing a poll from Musk that asks his followers if they want an Edit button. The poll ends later today.


Now that Musk is on Twitter's Board of Directors, he plans to push for changes at the company.
