Apple has stopped selling the 27-inch LG UltraFine 5K display following the launch of its new 27-inch Studio Display.
The UltraFine 5K Display featured a 27-inch IPS panel, P3 wide color gamut, and 500 nits of brightness. LG worked with Apple on the display bringing macOS integration that let users control volume and brightness without the need for physical buttons.
Currently, the 27-inch model has been removed from the Apple online store and is sold out on LG's website; however, there are still some in stock on Amazon. The 24-inch version of the monitor is still available on Apple.com.
Apple is clearly pointing users to its new Studio Display that starts at $1599, compared to $1299 for the LG UltraFine 5K. The Studio Display does have numerous benefits including 600 nits of brightness, True Tone, Center Stage, and more.
