Apple's highly anticipated iMac Pro and Mac Pro may not arrive until next year, according to TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In a tweet today, Kuo predicted that Apple would unveil a high-end Mac mini and a new display this year but not the widely expected Apple Silicon iMac Pro and Mac Pro.
Predictions for Apple's new desktop products:
1. 2022: More powerful Mac mini and more affordable external display (27-inch without mini-LED).
2. 2023: Mac Pro and iMac Pro.
This contradicts iMac Pro predictions from the also reliable Mark Gurman and Ross Young.
Also notable, recent leaks have said that the company's new 'Apple Studio Display' will feature a 7K resolution. That seems quite high for a 27-inch display. Apple's Pro Display XDR is 6K at 32-inches.
We'll know more soon as Apple plans to announce new devices at a 'Peek performance' special event on Tuesday. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for full coverage.
