"Yup, we get this one a lot. It's still just not a big enough group of people to be a priority. Hoping to get to it at some point, but right now we're very heads down on other things."
"Yeah, there's something there. I call these "finally features." Things like supporting dark mode, scheduled posts, an iPad app, deleting one photo from a carousel, etc."
The statement is a bit difficult to understand given how easy it is to make an iPad version of an iPhone app. Even just a responsive design that takes up the full iPad screen would be appreciated by those on iPadOS.
Nevertheless, it doesn't appear we are getting an iPad app for Instagram any time soon.
Ever since my ipad mini 3 back in 2015, ive been waiting for the instagram app for ipad. Most ipad users will have an iphone, we do want to use it on the ipad too.however,to use the iphone instagram app on the ipad it is just so bad. we dont even bother downloading the app to use on the ipad. Therefore, you Adam Mosseri thinks there isnt a big enough group. We all gave up on this bec we knew how terrible it is to use the iphone os version on the ipad os. Exactly it is 2022.
