Apple Discontinues Beats Pill+ Bluetooth Speaker

Apple appears to have discontinued its Beats Pill+ Bluetooth speaker, removing references to the speaker from its websites and online store.

The portable Beats Pill+ was released in October 2015 for $229.95. It offered up to 12 hours of battery life and could be paired with another unit for stereo sound. Later the price was reduced to $179.95. It came in black, red, and white colors.

As Apple no longer offers a compact portable Bluetooth speaker, users will have to purchase a third party speaker to work with their devices. We'd suggest the Sonos Roam which is waterproof and supports AirPlay 2.
