Check out this video detailing how the world's first USB-C iPhone was created.
As demonstrated last month, robotics engineering student Ken Pillonel successfully replaced the Lightning port on his iPhone with a working USB-C port. He's now posted an explanation of how this was accomplished.
This is it! I promised I would explain how I made the USB-C iPhone mod, here it is.
Notably, Pillonel is selling the modded iPhone on eBay. The auction for the iPhone X is already up to $2025.
