Gurman: 'No Chance' Apple Watch Series 7 Will Feature Blood Pressure Sensor

Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman says there is 'no chance' that Apple's next generation smartwatch will feature a blood pressure sensor.
The prediction follows a recent report from Nikkei who said production of the Apple Watch Series 7 has been delayed due to 'critical challenges'. In the report, Nikkei claimed the ability to measure blood pressure was one of the factors complicating the design of the new device.
On Twitter, Gurman was asked, "Nikkei Asia says blood pressure sensor. Any comment on that?" He simply replied, "no chance".
Notably, Bloomberg does concur with Nikkei on production challenges that could delay the release of the new Apple Watch, just not the blood pressure feature.
Apple is expected to unveil the new Apple Watch Series 7 at an event in September. Please download the iClarified app or follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and RSS for updates.
