Apple is planning to release a new iPad 9 in spring that features a larger 10.5-inch display, according to a new report from cnbeta.com.
According to the exposed news, the new generation of iPad (also called iPad 9) is basically the same as the current one. It adopts a 10.5-inch LED full-fit screen, retains the traditional Touch ID design, and the body will be thinner and lighter. As for the configuration, due to pricing and other factors, the iPad 9 will not be equipped with an A14 processor. Instead, it will use an A13, built-in 4GB memory and 64GB storage (starting), and still has a Lighting interface.
It's said that price will stay the same as the current 10.2-inch iPad 8 which starts at $329 for the 32GB Wi-Fi model. Currently, Amazon has the iPad 8 discounted to $299 with a guaranteed arrival just before Christmas.
