Apple will begin volume production of new 6.1-inch iPhone 12 models in July-August, ahead of its other new models, reports DigiTimes.
Although the planned launch of Apple's 2020 iPhone lineup, reportedly to come in four models and three sizes, is likely to be in October instead of September, volume production of the mainstream 6.1-inch models are expected to kick off in July-August.
Apple is expected to unveil four new iPhone 12 models this year with multiple sources predicting a later than usual launch.
Last month, leaker Jon Prosser claimed to reveal specs and pricing for Apple's entire 2020 iPhone lineup. He predicts a 5.4-inch iPhone 12, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, and 6.4-inch iPhone Pro Max.
