Apple is Donating 9 Million N95 Masks to the USA

Apple is donating nine million N95 masks to the United States, according to Vice-President Mike Pence. The number was revealed during a press briefing yesterday.

"And I spoke today, and the president spoke last week, with Tim Cook of Apple," Pence said. "And at this moment in time Apple went to their store houses and is donating 9 million N95 masks to healthcare facilities all across the country and to the national stockpile."

Apple CEO Tim Cook had previously announced that the company would be donating 'millions of masks' on Twitter; however, Cook didn't provide a specific number at that time.


Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has said his company will be donating 720,000 masks and Tesla CEO Elon Musk said he'll be donating at least 250,000 masks.
