Apple is reportedly set to begin production of a new 10.2-inch iPad 7 in July followed by a 16-inch MacBook Pro in the fourth quarter of 2019, according to a UDN report via Macotakara.
It is said that the new iPad will be mass-produced in July, and the new 16-inch MacBook Pro will be mass-produced in the fourth quarter. Ruiyi is the exclusive supplier of Apple iPad and MacBook Pro backlight modules, and its performance is expected to benefit.
The new iPad has been predicted by both Bloomberg and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. It's expected to be a lower cost model with a faster processor than the earlier generation.
IHS Markit recently claimed that Apple would unveil the much anticipated 16-inch MacBook Pro at a press event in September. They believe Apple will use a 3072x1920 LCD display from LG for the new notebook and Intel's 9th generation H series mobile processors.
