Apple Discontinues the 12-inch MacBook

Apple discontinued its 12-inch MacBook today, removing the notebook from its online store alongside the debut of a refreshed MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro.

The 12-inch MacBook was last updated in 2017 with a 1.3 GHz Core i7 processor, faster storage and support for up to 16GB of RAM. Its starting price was $1299.

Apple also discontinued the previous generation MacBook Air today. That leaves the just the 13-inch MacBook Air and the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro in Apple's lineup.
