iOS 13 Beta 1 Has Been Jailbroken

Posted June 11, 2019 at 5:44pm by iClarified
The first beta of Apple's upcoming iOS 13 software update for iPhone has already been jailbroken.

Developer iBSparkes announced the feat in a post Twitter.

ya'll talk that life me and @qwertyoruiopz really live it

Attached to the post was an image of an iPhone 8 running Cydia on iOS 13.0.

Currently, the unc0ver and chimera jailbreaks only support up to iOS 12.1.2. It's unclear if iBSparkes or qwertyoruiopz have any intention of releasing their jailbreak if the exploits used still work in the final version of iOS 13.

JBers are used to bugs, as that was half the fun, as the average user helped debug new JB apps for newbie designers. Now, JBing won’t even get you useful but buggy features anymore. Besides, what $20 - $600 apps are NOT buggy, even years after their release? I’d rather have something half-baked that I can try out, rather then the current cr*pfest of FREE subscription apps.

I still don’t understand the appeal of news like this. If they’re not releasing it, I don’t care.

More importantly, does this mean we all NEED developer IDs to upgrade BEFORE the crack team sells the vulnerability to Apple? Cause once they do, it’ll be useless on subsequent releases.

Photoshop. Anyway even if they did we won’t see it.

I’ve gotta say, despite a LONG jailbreaking history, none of the recent 4 or 5 have done a thing. Either I was unable to install them (despite acquiring a Developer ID), or couldn’t do diddly once I did. Thus I now consider JBing dead, with only newbies trying for a ‘retro’ experience (ex: “Man, just how bored WERE these old-time losers?”). Once Apple started paying serious $ for JBs, the bottom fell out of the JB market. Now, the ONLY benefit to a JB are the Apple $!

The funny thing I believe people would of gladly pay 1 dollar or 5 for jailbreaks. All they had to do is create a tool that remotely pull the files needed and encrypt it and not have stored locally. Using your imei as some sort of validation so the paid subscription and key would only work on that device. I use to donate to all the free developers that I got apps from. I know this is a time consuming thing for them. I appreciate all the work they did. But it's like some seeing that you are thirsty then they show you they have water. Instead of sharing it with you they jump in to tease you.

Alas, who wants to wait for all those $5 donations when Apple pays a cool Mil to shitcan the exploits? The days of “Free” anything is over, as now even FireFox is proposing Premiere browser access.
