Rob McElhenney, co-creator of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, has taken the wraps off a new series for Apple TV+, entitled 'Mythic Quest'.
Written by McElhenney and Charlie Day, the show takes place in a fictional studio that created the biggest MMORPG in the world, "Mythic Quest". It was unveiled at Ubisoft's E3 Press Conference as the team partnered with Ubisoft to learn about the gaming industry.
"We meet them on the cusp of releasing their biggest expansion yet, 'Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet'. The show follows the team of devs as they navigate the challenges of running their game while dealing with the difficulties of modern office life. These people are truly stuck together yet they grind it out day after day for the love of the game. At the head of that team is my character, creative director Ian Grimm."
"Like most creative directors he is gifted, driven, and tirelessly dedicated to his game and like most of the creative directors that I've met he has an ego the size of a city bus."
McElhenney and Charlie Day are executive producers alongside Michael Rotenberg, Nicholas Frenkel, Gérard Guillemot, Jason Altman, and Danielle Kreinik.
