Leaked screenshots reveal what Apple's new TV app and Apple Music app will look like when they are unveiled alongside macOS 10.15 next week.
The screenshots were shared with 9to5Mac by people involved in their development.
Both the Music and TV apps present a similar design language, with a gray sidebar listing sections of content and a large area on the right for the actual content. What can also be seen in the screenshots is the return of colorful sidebar icons to macOS.
The sidebar icons use the tint color of the app with a slight drop shadow. They get continuously darker from top to bottom.
The Music app allows users to sync their iPhones and iPods. Devices show up in the sidebar similar to iTunes. The search bar has been moved to the sidebar letting users search both Apple Music and their local Music library.
In the TV app, users can choose between the following tabs: Watch Now, Movies, TV Shows, Kids, and Library. You can filter content by Genre using the sidebar. The search bar is at the top right of the window.
Apple is widely expected to announce macOS 10.15 at its WWDC 2019 keynote on Monday, June 3rd. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.
