Apple iPad 2 Now Vintage and Obsolete

Apple has officially added all iPad 2 models to its list of vintage and obsolete products. The tablet which was released in 2011 is on the vintage list in the United States and Turkey and is obsolete in the rest of the world.
Obsolete products are those that were discontinued more than 7 years ago. Apple has discontinued all hardware service for obsolete products and service providers cannot order parts for obsolete products.
Vintage products are typically those that have not been manufactured for more than 5 and less than 7 years ago. Apple has discontinued hardware service for vintage products with the exception of Turkey and California as required by law. The iPad 2 will become fully obsolete in March of 2021.
