Apple to Hold Services Focused Media Event on March 25th [Report]

Apple is purportedly planning its first big media event of the year for March 25, 2019 at the Steve Jobs Theater.
BuzzFeed sources say that the company plans to unveil a news subscription service but it's unlikely that the next generation AirPods or a new iPad mini will be announced.
Sources described the event as subscription services focused, but declined to say anything about Apple’s standalone video streaming service which is also rumored to debut in 2019. Earlier this year, The Information reported that Apple had told studios and networks to prepared for an April launch.
There is a small chance that the date could shift given publisher pushback over the revenue sharing terms of Apple's "Netflix for news" service. Apple is purportedly looking to keep half the proceeds of a $10/month subscription fee, portioning out the other half to publishers.
