Compal to Begin Mass Production of Apple Watch Series 4 in November [Report]

Apple is adding Compal as a producer of the Apple Watch Series 4 in November due to strong demand for the next generation smartwatch, reports DigiTimes.

With Quanta Computer's capacity for the Apple Watch Series 4 at its factory in Changshu, eastern China fully loaded, the wearable's second supplier Compal Electronics reportedly will begin mass production of the smartwatch in November 2018, according to industry sources.

Global shipments for the Apple Watch are expected to reach 18-19.5 million this year. The Apple Watch Series 4 was released on September 21st. Click here to learn more about it.
