Jonathan Levin has released LiberiOS, a new jailbreak for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices running iOS 11.0 - 11.1.2. This follows the release of LiberTV 1.1 for Apple TV earlier today.
LiberIOS - Now liberating pretty much every *OS 11.x.y device, for x ≤ 2
Unfortunately, the jailbreak doesn't come with a working version of Cydia yet and offsets are missing for quite a few devices.
Advanced users can give it a try by installing this IPA to their devices using Cydia Impactor. If your offsets are missing, please report it here.
We'll be posting a tutorial on how to jailbreak your device using LiberiOS soon.
You pirates don't quit, do you? Your golden goose is dead. You are either going to have to switch to Android or pay for your apps and music. Too bad ...
You do understand that a jailbreak has nothing to do with pirated apps, don't you? YOU DON'T EVEN NEED A JAILBREAK TO PIRATE APPS! A jailbreak is root access, and if you knew anything about jailbreaks you would know that.
one question. i have a iphone 7 on ios 10.3.2. on the update setting is says it will install ios 11 not ios 11.2 or latest. ca i upgrade? or not? its a trap?
Everyone was warned, on here at iClarified, Twitter, and Reddit while the signing window was still open for iOS 11.1.2 to stay on that firmware because a jailbreak would be released. This is likely going to be the norm for future jailbreaks so in the future if there is a warning saying to stay at a firmware, head those warnings and you'll be able to jailbreak next time.
I am trying to install 11.1.2 on my iphone 6, iTunes will not accept the ipsw and is declining to authorize the image (checked hosts file and security settings, both are in order) and 11.1.2 is still being signed atm. 11.2.1 is what apple is trying to shove down our throats atm, will this still work on that version? or is 11.1.2 where this ends?
11.1.2 It's not being signed. If you are on 11.0 up to 11.1.2 right now, use the jailbreak and pray that you don't need to restore. If you are on 11.2 or 11.2.1,then you missed the boat. Personally I'm on 11.1 and I will wait for a stable release of the jailbreak tool and one that includes cydia. Without cydia this release isn't useful to me in any way.
Hello,Its not supporting iPhone 6 running ios 11.0. Error: FUD. Something went a...I’m missing an offset for this I-de... Please help... Thanks and yeah “Merry Christmas”...
Right? If I remember anything from high school Mathematics it’s that x is less than or equal to the number 2. So that would mean iOS 11.2.x would be jailbreak capable.
