People have already started lining up for Apple's next generation smartphone before the company has even had the chance to unveil it.

Luke Hopewell, Curation Lead for MomentsAU, posted the photo below of customers lined up at the Sydney Apple Store.

Two days ahead of the actual announcement itself, the first person has made camp outside the Sydney Apple Store for #iPhone8

While we're sure Apple will unveil a great new smartphone tomorrow, the flagship iPhone X is not expected to be released until late next month. If true, that would be a long time to wait in line!

hat could be his life though? Just because its not what you would do doesn't mean its not what he likes to do? He could be a blogger for a company or himself, he may have a business in which he markets or saves spots for people, or for all we know we could own a very successful business and he is retired. Leave these people alone though. I mean all of us will be waiting till 12am PST to preorder a phone. That is 2:00am for me, then I have to be at work a few hours later. Most of you are probably just jealous that they can do that with their lives. I know I am haha. Though I am curious what phones they are out there for. If its the X (10), then good luck haha.

I've always ordered online, and often receive then before they go on line in the stores. I'll go online again, but frankly, if there aren't enough and I don't order it within the first thirty seconds, I have no problems continuing to use my current phone for another several months. It's a 6 .

Can't agree more! Ppl fleeing their homes from hurricanes (whilst they search for shelter) and these ppl wait in line to purchase a phone! Which is said not to be released until late next month! I think we (as humanity) have lost the plot!
