Apple has issued a statement on a recent WikiLeaks Vault 7 dump which revealed numerous methods that the CIA uses to hack iOS and Android users.

The company told TechCrunch that many of the vulnerabilities have already been patched and it is working quickly to address new ones.

“Apple is deeply committed to safeguarding our customers’ privacy and security. The technology built into today’s iPhone represents the best data security available to consumers, and we’re constantly working to keep it that way. Our products and software are designed to quickly get security updates into the hands of our customers, with nearly 80 percent of users running the latest version of our operating system. While our initial analysis indicates that many of the issues leaked today were already patched in the latest iOS, we will continue work to rapidly address any identified vulnerabilities. We always urge customers to download the latest iOS to make sure they have the most recent security updates,” an Apple spokesperson said in a statement.

If you're concerned about the security of your iPhone, make sure to update to the latest version of iOS.

If you are tired of being nagged to update, you can add a TVOS profile to your iPhone that will stop the nagging. Google is your friend...

Yes but be ready to get spied on eventually on making the next iPhone 8. The hardware will be developed by Israel. If you do some research you'll know or find out.
