AT&T has announce that tomorrow it will launch a new Unlimited plan that will be available to all consumer and business postpaid wireless customers. This follows Verizon's launch of an unlimited plan and T-Mobile's improvements to their unlimited plan.
The new AT&T Unlimited Plan will include unlimited talk, text and data on 4 lines for $180 after 2 bills. The first two bills will be $220/month. Business customers can also take advantage of their additional corporate discount.
“We’re offering unlimited entertainment on the nation’s best data network where and when you want to enjoy more of what you love,” said David Christopher, Chief Marketing Officer of the AT&T Entertainment Group.
You can also make unlimited calls from the U.S. to Canada and Mexico, and send unlimited texts to over 120 countries. Customers on this plan can talk, text and use data in Canada and Mexico with no roaming charges when they add the Roam North America feature for no additional charge.
AT&T says that after 22 GB of data usage, your speeds may be slowed during periods of network congestion. Stream saver is included.
I wrote a complaint letter to AT&T for that exact price gouging on that stupid $5.00 price hike. I am applauded at what they are doing to my grandfathered plan. I will definitely keep my old plan and see if it's better to keep verus the next plan they have right now
T-Mobile has the best plans. 160 for 4 lines with unlimited data and hotspot tethering!!! Plus can use data abroad!!! There's no comparison !!! Oh!!! If you or someone in the plan don't use 2GB then you get -$10.00 less per line. So you could only pay 120.00 for all four lines....Plus best customer service .... I don't work for them!!!!
Ditching the deATTh star soon and switching to the uncarrier who inspired other carriers to make a half-assed attempt at change when T-mobile does everything right and will soon experience it myself.
