How to Jailbreak Your iPhone on iOS 10 Using Yalu and Cydia Impactor (Windows)

These are instructions on how to jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 10.1.1 using Yalu and Cydia Impactor for Windows.

Please note that currently this jailbreak is in extreme beta and only has only been tested to support the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, and iPad Pro on iOS iOS 10.1/10.1.1. Do not attempt this if you need your device working as the procedure may not succeed and you might have to restore your device. The jailbreak is currently being updated and will eventually work with additional devices including the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6. iOS 10.2 support will be difficult to achieve.

Additionally, Cydia Substrate is not working yet. Your tweaks will not work. So again, you may want to hold off until yalu exits the beta stage.

Step One
Make sure to backup your device using iCloud or iTunes.

Step Two
Download the latest Yalu jailbreak IPA from here and Cydia Impactor from here and save them to a folder on your computer. If you have a TSMC chip iPhone make sure to download the appropriate yalu ipa. Click here for instructions on How to Check if Your iPhone 6s Has a A9 Chip From Samsung or TSMC.

Your iPhone will now reboot and you'll have Cydia on your SpringBoard! Congratulations, you're jailbroken!

After each restart you will need to relaunch yalu (mach_portal) as this is a semi-tethered jailbreak. After relaunching yalu (mach_portal), you'll be able to launch Cydia and enjoy your jailbreak.

You don't have to worry about it at all but if you still do then creat another Apple I'D sign out of your original Apple I'D and sign in with the made up one, jailbreak and after being sure that every thing is working sign out and sign in with your original Apple I'D, simple and it's always good to have an extra Apple I'D especially under another country so you can get their Apps that are not in your Apple Store. I already made about 15 Apple I'Ds for getting free 3 month Apple Music so by now I've been using Apple Music 2 years for free and still got many more to go, I'm still using my original iCloud I only change my Apple Store Apple I'D for activating the free 3 months and that's not all it also works on many Apps that give you a free month like HBO as an example only first go to Safari in Settings and touch on Clear History and Website Data only then sign into a different Apple I'D and get your free trial all over again on all the Apps you like like YouTube red works no problem.

Try it a few times but reboot between attempts. Remember this is super beta and may not work on the first attempt.

Same thing here. iPhone 7 Plus on 10.1.1. Ran it twice with no Cydia Icon appearing. Then, did a shut down and restart without first launching the mach_portal. After the restart, I launched the mach_portal and the third time was the charm. The first time I tried to launch Cydia (just to see what would happen), it locked up the iPhone. After a force shut down and restart, Cydia just fails to launch but doesn't lock up the phone. I read that the Cydia substrate is not yet compatible (and I assume that this means Cydia will not launch on any iOS 10.x device) and of course tweaks won't work, but just curious . . . has anyone actually been able to launch and run Cydia at all?
