1Password 3 Public Beta Released

Agile Web Solutions announced today the immediate availability of a public beta of 1Password 3, its award-winning password and identity manager for the Mac. Over a year in the making, 1Password 3 is the most significant upgrade in company history, incorporating years of customer feedback and new innovation from Agile's unique, comprehensive approach to making your online life more secure and convenient.

1Password 3 adds ground-breaking features like 1PasswordAnywhere - Agile's largest user request of all time - which allows users to view their 1Password information on any computer with a modern browser. Many other new features include a dedicated section for managing software licenses, customizable iPhone sync features that offer more control over which information users take on-the-go, support for attachments to organize and encrypt virtually any files in 1Password, a tagging system that adds additional organizational flexibility, and the ability to edit or delete 1Password website logins directly from a browser.

1Password 3 is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and 10.6 Snow Leopard. It is a paid upgrade, and upgrade licenses are available to owners of any previous version during the public beta with a special Early Bird discount: A Single User license upgrade is only $19.95 USD (50% off regular price of a full license), and a Family upgrade of a five license pack is only $29.95 (57% off!).
