The process of creating the Apple Watch Edition case begins with a high-strength zirconia powder that’s combined with alumina to achieve its rich, white color. Each case is then compression molded, sintered, and polished using a diamond slurry, which results in a remarkably smooth surface and an exquisite shine. Every Apple Watch Edition case takes days to make.

The ceramic case is beautiful and functional. No more scratching or cracking. Hopefully they can migrate this to the iPhone. I would definitely be on board. Once they get glass tech slightly more advanced a case will no longer be needed.

Same watch just another color to the collection. The silver is gone I bet this one will get abuse so much to the point that the silver will be vintage. This always happens when something new comes out. Then nobody wants to be seen wearing one.

Then prove that these watches are the "same" then. Different color means nothing about that. Just because something is abused is basically someone carelessly not being aware of damages done to it like the 6 plus bending for example, except the phone is too easy to bend, this watch will be damaged if people want to beat it up that bad, yet it wouldn't change the fact that people still buy one, but why not get a case for it anyway?

So €1500 for a watch but they still supply it with the cheapest rubber strap! At least expected the nylon woven strap. Maybe ape cannot afford to stretch to a nylon band!

i tried it on today, it definitely feels 'nicer' than the aluminum or stainless steel version. 1000 $'s nice, I'm not sure about that, but it's a step up.

You right mon. I wished they'd come with a piano black one, that suits the new color of the iPhone 7's. I guess someone wasn't thinking. I'll never wear a white watch. Stick with the edition gold with sport and black. White is girly too

*Insert thank you gif here* We've shifted the "white apple era" into aluminium apple a while ago.. why go back to the white ceramic. Although Gold isn't everyone color, but Gold definitely looks more exclusive than white. And the fact they only include white sports band for a freakin expensive "watch" is unacceptable. At least maybe give something exclusive like an exclusive watch face or an exclusive band like Hermes does

I actually expected some dialogue explaining or at the very least most of this video going in depth about what's inside like other than just the products (stickers of there are any, accessories, etc.)!
