Check out Apple's video introducing its new wireless headphones dubbed 'AirPods'.

The new wireless AirPods are the first of their kind to intelligently connect to your devices while delivering incredible sound for up to five hours on a single charge. The Apple-designed W1 chip makes it possible.

Apple's AirPods will cost $159 and be released in late October. Please follow iClarified on Twitter, Facebook, or RSS for updates.

Like the idea of these, don't like the shape however, they look to much like the ear pods with the cable cut off, which seems like a lazy design, however if they are the same size as the cabled ear pods then they would fit in my motorbike helmet quite nicely, but @ $159 I bet that will convert to £159 when available in the uk ):

Lazy? No. The air flow is redone, a chip inside controls Siri and the remote inside the headphones, but done with tap gestures or pause music when taking them off, mic is at the bottom, and this allows Apple Watch use and no Bluetooth connection!

I'm not saying there not a nice bit of kit, it's just with apples track record of Beautiful designs I think making them look like the cabled ends is a bit of a let down, that's just my personal opinion. I do love the EarPods they fit will in my ears and give great sound so I expect the same from these
