iOS 9.3.4 Has Been Jailbroken [Video]

Posted August 25, 2016 at 6:15am by iClarified
A jailbreak of iOS 9.3.4 called OverSky has been demonstrated by Team OS.

Min (Spark) Zheng an Android/iOS senior security engineer at Alibaba has posted a video to YouTube showing an iPhone 6 allegedly being jailbroken by an app dubbed OverSky (aka Flying). The iPhone is running iOS 9.3.4.

Apple released iOS 9.3.4 to kill the recent Pangu jailbreak of iOS 9.2-9.3.3. However, hacker Luca Todesco (@qwertyoruiopz) was able to jailbreak the firmware shortly after its release.

It's unclear if Team OS plans to release their jailbreak to the public. Now that Apple is offering a bounty to hackers that discover flaws it may be more likely that security researchers take their findings to Apple to collect rather than releasing.

If you are still on iOS 9.3.3, don't update. You can find instructions on how to jailbreak below.

Knowing Luca Todesco this wont see the light of day. He wont be selling it out to Apple either. He will be expecting much more from some foreign intelligence intellignence agency. Total Black Hat. Its funny all of us Jailbreak/Cydia fans now rely solely on the goodwill and piousness of the Chinese (Pangu) for a working jailbreak...

The phone has great features, many were available in to JB community for a few years. However those ideas dont matter ,because none of them get credit. They just get their ideas implementation in the software. Then those same ideas are claimed as someone else's in order to sue everyone else.

I skipped out on the 9.3 jailbreak. Still on 9.0.2 jailbroken. Hopefully this 9.4 JB is/becomes public and fully untethered.

The amount of money they offer is absolute joke. They will loose billions in sales by people not buying there devices. They do not understand that people who buy a device have a right to JB the device, just like if i buy car i can modify the car. The phone is the user"s device to do what ever he wants , the dcma ruled it legal. They might not like it but that is to bad. Just like they offer two year warranty"s overseas on almost products. Yet we get measly 1 year with high deductibles we have to pay for. Two year warranty same price ( Us warranty 1 year, JOKE),.. Many ideas or so called features were swipped from the community and implementation in some software , then claimed has new greatest features. When they were available for a few years before. The difference is giant company can figure out the code and re do it and claim has their own.

If you came up with a way to jailbreak the iPhone, would you release it to the world for free or sell it to Apple for a decent payoff? That's your choice. You can't dictate what a jailbreaker will decide. So if you don't like what these guys are going to decide if they sell it to Apple, then you can come up with your own jailbreak and do whatever YOU want with it. Apple is keeping our product safe and secure, but you're still free to come up with your own jailbreak and give all you're data to hackers. Go ahead and do that and stop moaning. You do what you want, I'll do what I want, a jailbreaker will do what they want, and Apple can do what they want. See how that works? Why don't you switch to Android? It's less secure and maybe you can find a warranty you'd be satisfied with if that's all that matters to you.

Why they don't ask for a donation,,,i bet the is more then a million people using a jailbreak. If you don't donate you will not be able to use the jailbreak, simple and they get more money then apple's offer.
