Everything iDon't (iPhone Doesn't), DROID DOES

Verizon has revealed more details about its marketing campaign against the iPhone. A new site presents the user with the following phrases...

iDon't have a real keyboard

iDon't run simultaneous apps

iDon't take night shots

iDon't allow open development

iDon't customize

iDon't run widgets

iDon't have interchangeable batteries

Everything iDon't

DROID DOES

Users are then asked to input their email address to be notified when "compromise has been deactivated"

A countdown timer apparently is set to countdown til October 30th when the Motorola Sholes may be launched.

I remember this campaign during the original console wars; Genesis does what Nintendon't. Look out Verizon should start talking about 'blast processing' soon.

Better is the enemy of good. Bye bye Apple. Hello freedom. Thanks to DevTeam, Geohot, Saurik, Bigboss and all the good folks out there for your hard work. Forget jailbreaking - we won't need it anymore. Hope to meet you on Android some day.

Who needs jailbreak? What the world needs is an open OS like Android. Jailbreak is only a workaround for the restrictions the Apple fascists installed in their devices to keep in total control of their customers. Cracking software is illegal.

This is sad, cause if this is the way its going to be then the people on Verizon that have been hoping to get the iPhone will probably never get it now. The people who have a iPhone already and love it but want a better service have no hope now. Why did Verizon go and do this? Take shots at the Cell Phone Company not the Cell Phone Maker. People buy iPhone cause they want a iPhone people buy Androids cause they want Androids. People buy Mac cause they want OS X people buy PC's cause they want Windows. JESUS CHRIST VERIZON I HAD RESPECT FOR YOU! No longer.

Verizon doesn't believe in jailbreaking. In their attempts to prevent it, they will turn any otherwise reasonable competition to the iPhone into a lump of clay.

Verizon needs to stop hating on the iphone, they shouldn't turned down Jobs when he first came to them. Just because they're running cdma doesn't mean Jobs has to redesign his iphone for them.
