Lexi Brings Amazon's Alexa to the iPhone
Posted May 7, 2016 at 7:21pm by iClarified
Lexi is a new personal assistant app for the iPhone that is powered by Alexa Voice Services. It supports many of the functions available to Amazon Echo owners; however, as of yet, you can't connect to Amazon Prime music or book services.
Lexi listens as you ask questions by speaking, and then replies through the speaker or headphones connected to your iPhone or iPod touch.
Features:
Ask Lexi questions like:
• "What's the weather like?"
• "What time do the Astros play?"
• "Knock, knock?"
You can also ask Lexi to help you:
• "Add milk to my shopping list"
You'll need an Amazon account to use Lexi. Get one here.
You can purchase Lexi from the App Store for $4.99.
