Apple Releases tvOS 9.2.1 Beta 2 to Developers for Testing

Apple has released a second beta of tvOS 9.2.1 to developers for testing.

This is a beta version of tvOS for the new Apple TV. Apple TV (3rd generation) and earlier are not supported. Download the Restore Image to update your Apple TV through iTunes on your Mac or download the Configuration Profile for over-the-air updates through Apple Configurator.

tvOS 9.2.1 contains bug fixes and security improvements.


In addition, a profile on the developer portal is available to update Apple TV to tvOS 9.2.1 Beta
seeds. If you have tvOS 9.1 beta 1 or beta 2 currently installed, please use the available .ipsw
file to install tvOS 9.2.1 beta 2.
