Apple to Launch New 12-inch and 13.3-inch MacBooks in Q1-Q2, 15-inch MacBooks in Q3?

Apple is expected to start producing new 12-inch and 13.3-inch MacBooks at the end of Q1 2016 or early in Q2 and start producing 15-inch models in Q3, reports DigiTimes.

The site claims that shipments will remain similar to that of 2015 with about 20 million units getting shipped in 2016.

But despite flat shipment performance, new MacBook and iMac products for 2016 are expected to boost the company's overall product ASPs, according to sources from the supply chain.

Apple is expected to update its notebooks with Intel's new Skylake processors and Thunderbolt 3 with USB-C.

The 12-inch and 13-inch updates could potentially be unveiled at a press event in March. Apple is also predicted to unveil a 4-inch iPhone, an iPad Air 3, and new Apple Watch bands during the event.

I'm with PHUKAI on this one! Spot on with making everything into one ports while keeping the thin body along with the wobble less keys with upgraded lights in them. Even the metal alone Id consider it quality!

I gotta agree with MUKAI here, this was a mediocre laptop with just 1 port. Wasn't even worth the aluminum it's made of.

What 'Not You' said. When quality sells decent when clearly docks were made for it where you're basically adding more ports yourself! WOO WOO WOO!!

Yeah.. 12 inch "fanless" macbook already overheats and throttle like theres no tomorrow. I wonder how it'll handle in 15 inch version. We might have a new way to cook scrambled eggs in the morning.

If there was a 15 inch MacBook that would be legit or at least a super thin 15in MacBook Pro

If there is a new MacBook Pro this year, I might regret buying the 2015 version now.
