Apple Considers Earlier Launch of the iPhone 7 Next Year?

Apple is considering an earlier than usual launch of the iPhone 7 next year, reports AppleInsider.
Since the iPhone 5, Apple has launched its new iPhones in late September. For example, the iPhone 6s arrived on September 25th and the iPhone 6 arrived on September 19th. However, sources say the iPhone 7 could reach customers earlier.
But that pattern could end next year with an earlier launch, a reliable source told AppleInsider on Wednesday. The same person has, in the past, provided accurate information about the Apple's future product plans. Exactly how early it might launch, however, remains unknown. Up until the iPhone 4s in 2011, the first four generations of iPhone upgrades launched in the summer, in the months of June and July. The lone outlier from those launch windows was the iPhone 4s, which became available in October.
Apple is apparently trying to complete the development cycle of the iPhone 7 even faster than normal, giving it the option to launch before late-September. It's still early in the development stages so plans could change.
A report from earlier today said that Apple was looking to further distinguish the larger 5.5-inch iPhone from the 4.7-inch iPhone by equipping the iPhone 7 Plus with 3GB of RAM and leaving the iPhone 7 at 2GB.
