InfoLogic has announced MathMagic Pro Edition 6.7, their award-winning professional level equation editing suite for Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress for Mac OS X. With a focus on the equation quality and productivity, MathMagic Pro Edition comes with Plug-ins and XTensions to enable InDesign and QuarkXPress the equation editing capability right inside their documents. Version 6.7 adds Batch conversion for multiple files and folders, convenient Contextual menu, enhanced Spot color handling, and other improved features.

Perfect for both casual and professional users alike, MathMagic Pro Edition was specifically developed as a standalone application with plug-in technology to make it work seamlessly with high-end DTP applications such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress. MathMagic Pro Edition also works well with various applications including word processors, presentations, and graphic software via Drag and Drop, Copy and Paste, or Export/Import.

MathMagic reads various Math expression formats, including MathML and LaTeX. Among many of MathMagic's most popular features are its ability to read MS Equation editor and MathType equations directly, helping switchers to reuse most of their legacy contents. On top of all the features MathMagic Personal Edition offers, MathMagic Pro Edition comes with additional plug-ins for Adobe InDesign CS~CS4 or XTensions for QuarkXPress 6~8 to improve the productivity in inserting and editing equations within InDesign or QuarkXPress documents. MathMagic Pro Edition places equations in InDesign or QuarkXPress document in EPS format with the baseline aligned automatically. Equations can be re-edited simply by double-clicking or right-button clicking inside the InDesign or QuarkXPress documents, eliminating all the time-consuming exporting/importing/placing/linking/aligning steps.

Version 6.7 adds new or enhanced features including:*
Batch conversion for multiple files and folders, from multiple formats to same or another formats. Supported formats include MathML, AMS LaTeX, LaTeX, EPS, PICT, PDF, JPEG, TIFF, MathType formats. New StyleSet can also be applied during the conversion.
* Contextual menu for control-click or right-button click in the editor window
* Handles multiple spot colors specified in one equation

InfoLogic expects the Batch conversion feature will help users save a tremendous amount of time in converting hundreds of MathML or LaTeX expressions to EPS or PDF format periodically.

First available on Mac for QuarkXPress 3 in 1998, MathMagic's equation quality is unsurpassed and designed to meet stringent high-end DTP requirements. The superior quality and productivity of MathMagic have been selected by thousands of large publishers and university presses around the world for their technical publications, papers, and math communications.
