Ok, it can charge from a car's 12V outlet, so that's good. But it can't do Apple's own AirPlay: what a shame! I'm still looking for a good sound quality device that does AirPlay most of the time at my home, but can travel easily on battery and bluetooth and can be recharged from a car outlet... Such a device doesn't seem to exist. The only portable speakers that can do BT and AirPlay are from Sony, but they need 18V to charge (WTF!) and are quite a bit too bulky & heavy...

If it beats the sound/base of a BOSE Soundlink Mini 2 - I will switch!

Eww i feel like previous beats pill had better design. This new one is indeed simpler but looks way too similar as all other bluetooth speakers in the market

Yeah man! Like have a drone Beats pill like hover over you and give you a theme song while you are walking like on Charlie Brown. It's the new age and we need music all the time Anthony!

Would be nice if you can come have mutable speakers through out the house that can played off all your Apple devices, and either play different music on each one or all the same music on each one. Then and only then will you have my attention? This is a new age bring it on APPLE Antonio

They already do. They're called AirPlay speakers. Look them up.

It's isn't Apple that needs to get their together on this, Anthony...its you. With wifi, a cheap HTPC for a server and an AirPlay capable device you could make your own setup and have infinite possibilities. The only limitations here are with your own ignorance and lack of technical ability
