John Gruber from Daring Fireball has published some last minute rumors regarding the Apple event tomorrow. Apparently there have not been many leaks about this event due to the return of Steve Jobs.
Gruber is confident in the release of an iPod touch with an update processor, more RAM, and a camera. It will likely come in three sizes: 16/32/64 GB and cost $199/299/399. The Nano will also get a camera and the Classic will increase in capacity from 120 to 160 GB and keep the same price of $249.
Other less confident updates include the following:
The Nano
- top-secret new material / treatment for the Nano shel
- the Nano is getting an FM tuner
The Shuffle
- new design with a button (no button was a flop)
Steve Jobs
- probably not
iTunes 9
- 64-bit rewritten in Cocoa
- UI written using WebKit
Cocktail
- next-generation Dashboard written in WebKit
