Samsung is reportedly working on a giant 18.4-inch tablet to rival the rumored iPad Pro, according to SamMobile.

According to the information that we’ve received, the SM-T670, which is codenamed ‘Tahoe’, is an Android 5.1 Lollipop-based tablet with an 18.4-inch display. It will feature a TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, an octa-core 64-bit 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, a microSD card slot (supporting up to 128GB cards), and a 5,700 mAh battery. It will also come with an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 2.1-megapixel secondary camera. It will be 451.8 mm wide, 275.8 mm tall, and 11.9 mm thick.

Notably, Samsung is also said to be working on a 12-inch tablet that will run Windows 10. It has a 13nm Intel Core M chipset, 4GB RAM, and an S Pen accessory.

Apple is rumored to begin mass production of its 12.9-inch iPad Pro in Q4. It's unclear if Samsung plans to beat the device to market or whether it will wait until after the larger iPad is unveiled to introduce its tablet.

You do know Apple is nothing without Samsung. Apple analyzes the people on the stuff Samsung puts out to see what the people want and need. Then when they figure that out, they tweak it just a bit to reflect their company and make it simple and stable. Then all Apple fanboys go crazy in love of the newest things that have little hints of other phones. All in all, they're just electronics to me and I don't pick and choose sides because we all use them and they're all connected and similar to each other in some way. Don't think a certain brand is better than the other just because you have that brand and don't buy the other.

Oh and most of the leaks on iClarified appears to be the final product on release. I.e. iPhone 4, iPhone 5/S/C, iPhone 6/6 , iPad mini etc

Apple doesn't need Samsung at all; if Apple bought components from a different company that part of Samsung would go out of business (a different part to this Samsung which can only manage to copy the rumoured iPad pro by working on an 18 inch full HD monitor and calling it a tablet).

Did Apple start out because of Samsung? No. Did Samsung revolutionize anything mobile like Apple did? No. Did Samsung even do anything no other company has done before that's creative? No. Here's a breakdown. Because of what Apple had done back in 2007, that made others to make a phone look like iPhone and iPad, and from there, it's been following what Apple had done because they're the ones who changed the games, so if you can't beat them, follow them. Up to that day, this process still remains. Most companies nowadays slowly focus away from Apple like Sony, huawee, lg, and a few more companies out there and by slowly, they eventually had their own style of phones with physical phone features that differentiate iPhone. My point is how good they do as good as Apple but they "think different". That's why I own most their phones as a backup. Apple may have followed other companies to but they're the ones that made most learn from them overall.

18.4 inches is a monitor and I will not carry a huge screen to my presentations. Samsung overdo things. I'd still prefer 12.9" ipad pro on my meetings and presentations to clients. And there are lots of creatiivty apps on iOS than Android and Adobe's focus is on Mac and iOS. The Samsung 18.4 will be best for playing Clash of Clans and games which Fandroids always do. I'll also consider Windows tablets which you can install adobe full programs.

Tell me about it. I find more apps in the App Store than android and even have their functions in them (drawing, dynamic shots, extra installations to iOS without jailbreak.

You do know the is guilty of mocking Apple, but they were right to mock Samsung but they did it to them in a rap video.

Plus HTC doesn't offer anything that good to me.

Yeah but it was only that one rap video, they don't post ads mocking every company like Samsung with every new product. Plus they actually have a lot of cool features for example the boomsound speakers should be in every phone, yet Apple, who owns beats, isn't doing anything about that, they also have some cool camera effects, but the camera is the main weakness in all HTC phones. However, I'm reading that their new phone will have a really improved camera amongst other things. Also the dot view case is really nice, you can make your own themes, write a message, play a game all while the cover is closed. Granted there are some things I miss about iOS, but HTC really have some nice customization features that I liked and were the main reasons that I switched. I only switched because I wanted a change and HTC has, the best android phones, and they don't try copying features that are getting to every phone (such as the fingerprint scanner, mobile payments - they were one of the major companies to not introduce their own mobile payments system). And I actually thought HTC was crap until I used my friend's one and really liked it. HTC's phones were crap, until 2013, and I recommend them for anyone looking for an android phone, but my next phone in about 2 years will definitely be the iPhone.

The 6s will not dissapoint from what last year's iPhone has offered, plus I jail broken my 6 to make it as good as HTC, the sound that you have mentioned I don't really see a problem with. I find it good to use.

Samsung is only good at making displays lol, that's why they're always all about big screen sizes. Everything else is a complete fail and everyone including galaxy owners know that.

Not to mention curving the display like we're moving back to them after moving away from hem since curved TV's became flat screens. Why do that when I can just have my phone out facing up instead?
